Boxer Vijender Singh inspires students at Yadu Public School annual day event

Yadu Public School celebrated its Annual Day 2024 with grandeur, capturing the essence of Incredible India through a vibrant cultural showcase. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, led by Olympic medalist Vijender Singh, the event’s chief guest. Joining him were the school’s founder and former Minister and MP D.P. Yadav, Managing Director Kunj Yadav, Kunal Yadav, and the Principal. Performances such as Ganesh Vandana, excerpts from the Ramayana, and thematic acts on India’s achievements underscored the event’s celebration of culture and progress.

In his address, former Minister D.P. Yadav emphasised the importance of holistic education. “At Yadu Public School, we go beyond academics to focus on character building and skill development. Our goal is to nurture capable youth who will contribute to realising our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047,” he stated.

Olympic boxing champion Vijender Singh inspired the audience by praising the students’ achievements in sports and academics. “I see immense potential here. With the right support, these students can bring glory to the nation,” he said. He also announced, alongside Managing Director Kunj Yadav, the launch of an international-level boxing academy on the school premises. “This initiative will provide young talents with opportunities to excel on a global stage,” he added.

Kunj Yadav, the Managing Director, reflected on the significance of such events. “Annual celebrations like these not only connect students with their culture but also bring out their hidden talents. At Yadu Public School, we balance academics with extracurricular activities to ensure holistic development,” she noted.

District Panchayat Chairman Amit Chaudhary praised the school’s modern educational approach. “Students here learn in smart classrooms and advanced labs, equipping them to apply knowledge practically rather than relying on rote learning,” he said.

The event concluded with an award ceremony, where outstanding students were recognized for their performances. Managing Director Kunj Yadav expressed gratitude to the guests and encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence.
